Hi, I’m Yamila though most people simply call me Yami.
My story began in Chicago, but Florida has been home for most of my life. Over the years, I’ve lived in different parts of this vibrant state, and today I’m rooted in Boynton Beach, where I’ve built a life filled with family, work, and community. I’m a wife, a mom to two amazing kids, Sophia and Liam, and the human to a tiny Chihuahua named Rusty who’s convinced he runs the house.
My path into design wasn’t traditional. I didn’t study it in school, and I never followed a set career plan. Instead, I discovered design in 2001 and taught myself through late nights of trial, error, and endless curiosity. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a calling. I developed skills in website design, graphic design, and marketing—not just to create beautiful work, but to help businesses grow and thrive.
But for me, design is about more than pixels and layouts. It’s about people. When someone hires me, I know they’re not just looking for a logo or a website—they’re looking for clarity, support, and a trusted partner who can bring order to the overwhelm. My job is to take the scattered pieces of your vision and turn them into something clear, professional, and impactful.
